I grew up in a bicultural household shaped by grit, generosity, and the belief that education could change everything. My parents—first-time entrepreneurs who built a transportation business from the ground up—taught me that sacrifice, discipline, and long-term thinking aren’t just financial values; they’re life values.
At UC Davis, while learning to calculate income statements, I realized each class I attended meant another 3,000 miles driven by my father. That moment stayed with me. It’s what inspires the way I serve today: with respect for the stories behind the spreadsheets.
Though I began in civil engineering, I found my true calling at the intersection of economics, communication, and human connection.
At 17 Mile Drive, we offer guidance rooted in empathy and clarity. Our mission is simple: to help clients feel seen, supported, and confident in life’s most important financial decisions.
On a personal note, my wife, Sarah and I live in Walnut Creek with our two dachshunds, Ralph and Mabel—grateful every day to call this community home as we look forward to the next chapter of our lives together.
