Life is a journey, and for me, the ode to 17 Mile Drive is a perfect reflection of that journey—of finding where you truly belong and doing work that brings meaning every step of the way.
I’ve always known I wanted to be an accountant. That passion started early and became a reality in 2002 when I joined my Uncle Greg’s local CPA firm while still in college. My first responsibilities included preparing 1099s, running payroll, and learning the firm’s back-office tax support systems. After graduating in 2004, I accepted a full-time position and had the privilege of learning the business under Greg’s guidance and mentorship—an experience that shaped both my career and my approach to client service.
In 2016, I became a Partner at Hunter & Company CPAs. Working my way up through every level of the firm gave me a deep appreciation for each part of the profession and an enduring commitment to client success. I’m known for my meticulous attention to detail and my ability to simplify even the most complex financial challenges. With more than two decades of experience as a CPA, I bring both technical expertise and a client-first mindset to every engagement.
My areas of expertise include accounting, tax preparation, tax planning, and business strategy. I take pride in building long-term relationships founded on trust, collaboration, and measurable results. Taking the time to understand each client personally allows me to provide thoughtful, tailored guidance across a wide range of industries.
Outside of work, my greatest joy is my family. My wife, Lindsey, and I have three wonderful daughters—Jillian, Kelsey, and Andi. We love spending time with family and friends, going to baseball games (Go Giants!), boating on the Delta, and traveling. On weekends, you can usually find me behind a grill or smoker.
